Tachie

Privacy policy

Last updated October 10, 2026

Tachie is a pacing aid for iPhone. It's built so that your health data stays with you. This policy explains what Tachie stores, what (if anything) reaches us, and the choices you have.

What stays on your iPhone

Everything Tachie records is stored on your iPhone, inside the app:

There's no account and no Tachie server for this data. Like other app data, it's included in your own iPhone backups (iCloud Backup or a computer backup) if you have those turned on; those backups are handled by Apple under your Apple Account.

What reaches us

Only feedback you choose to send from the app (Settings › Send feedback). A message contains:

Feedback never includes your heart rate, logs or check-in answers. Messages are stored with Cloudflare and turned into notes in a private project tracker so we can act on them. Personal details in what you write are removed first.

What Tachie doesn't do

Bluetooth and notifications

Bluetooth is used only to connect to your heart-rate band. Notifications (heart-rate alerts and reminders) are created on your iPhone; they aren't sent from a server.

Your choices

Children

Tachie isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect their information.

Not medical advice

Tachie is a pacing aid, not a medical device. It doesn't diagnose or treat anything.
